A Moorhead woman wanted for taking her children from the home of a relative in southern Minnesota has been arrested and is in the Clay County Jail.
Izetta Cooley was found at a home in Moorhead late Tuesday morning with four of her five children. A 16-year-old boy was not with Cooley.
A warrant had been issued for Cooley’s arrest in Mower County, after she took the children, in violation of a protection order in Clay County.
Her husband, Miguel Cooley Sr., is charged with the shooting death of 20-year-old Gabriel Perez outside a Fargo McDonalds. He’s in jail in Austin, Minnesota pending a hearing to return him to North Dakota.
