If you’re looking to secure health care coverage in the new year, an important deadline is looming through the state’s exchange.
MNsure CEO Nate Clark said, “Any consumer who wants to come in and get coverage that is effective on January first needs to come in and complete their shopping by December 15th. We are always reminding folks to come to the exchange see what kind of tax credits are available, make your decision — don’t put it off.”
If you need additional help, Clark added, “We have free in-person assistance available across the state. Navigators and brokers are there to help consumers understand coverage options and get enrolled in a comprehensive plan.”
Clark says 2019 health care plans are down seven-to-27 percent statewide.
