Community Members are invited to join the celebrations and help raise funds On Wed., April 17th, the Mankato, Hutchinson, & Owatonna Buffalo Wild Wings® restaurant will host Community Day 2019, an annual celebration that raises funds for local kids as part of the Buffalo Wild Wings Team Up for Kids® mission. Boys & Girls Club of Mankato will receive 10 percent of total restaurant sales and 100 percent of Guest donations made on April 17. “We are excited to partner with BWW on April 17.

It is partnerships like this that allow us to serve kids and live out our mission to enable all kids, especially those who need us most to meet their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” said Erin Simmons, Director, Boys & Girls Club of Mankato.

Community members are invited to join in special in-restaurant activities, including:

• Visit & meal for the Club Kids at the Mankato location at 4:30pm

• Mascot Appearance at the Mankato location from 4-7pm

“Our annual Community Day allows us to further our mission of helping more kids play team sports by supporting local Clubs in more than 1,000 communities where we do business,” said John Bowie, chief operating officer, Buffalo Wild Wings. “The activities planned in-restaurant along with the critical funds we are able to raise for our local Boys & Girls Clubs, make Community Day an event we look forward to each year.”

Buffalo Wild Wings’ Team Up for Kids mission and partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America supports youth sports through ALL STARS grants for flag or tackle football, basketball, cheer, soccer, dance and step programs at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. On Community Day 2018, Buffalo Wild Wings, and its Guests, raised more than $765,000 marking the largest donation from this event since the annual fundraiser began in 2014.
