The Mankato Baltics vintage base ball team will host the Mankato Baltics Fun Day Fest, bringing in clubs from throughout the region, beginning immediately after the Fun Days Parade on Saturday, July 13. Games will take place in the Monroe School field, across from Fun Days. Saturday games are set to begin at 2 p.m. (or as soon as possible after the parade), with Sunday games beginning at 10 a.m.
The family event is free and open to the public. Fans are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, or to use bleachers provided by the Fun Days Committee. Questions about the game may be asked of any players or the Judge (umpire) who will be in 1860s period costume. Visiting teams will be our traditional opponents, the Rum River Rovers, plus the Menomonie Blue Caps and Filmore Fungi.
