Up until now, the 2019 NBA offseason has been one to remember. Just to recap, AD Joins LeBron in LA, KD, and Kyrie Irving pair up in Brooklyn, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George teams up in LA as well. Lastly, Russell Westbrook reunites with James Harden down in Houston in a trade sending guard Chris Paul to OKC. I do not believe that CP3 will be there for long in that sort of rebuilding stage. There has been trade talk mentioned. but no action has followed yet. With that being said here are 3 takeaways from the 2019 NBA offseason.

Number 1. The defending champs. With free agency in full effect and the losing of guards Kawhi and Danny Green. The Toronto Raptors look to build off of what they have and are fully prepared to defend their title this upcoming season.

Number 2. The battle for LA. One could argue that Showtime has returned to Los Angeles. With both LA teams loaded up, the Clippers and Lakers both look to compete for the Championship and bragging rights of LA.

Number 3. Good ole Milwaukee. Losing in 6 in the conference finals the season past, MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and recently resigned guard Kris Middleton looks to tally up the band for another run at the gold. With a few pieces gone, it will be interesting to see how the supporting cast and co respond. You heard it first from Mr.Rideout
