Being a Minnesota sports fan has always been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. From the Minneapolis Miracle to wide left from 27 yards out, to missing the NBA playoffs for 13 consecutive seasons, then making the playoffs to only win one game against the Houston Rockets. Minnesota fans know both the highs and the lows and doing the unimaginable. As for the Twins, they could be the second team in the World Series era to ever blow such a big lead in the playoff race. For the first time since April 17th, the Twins are in second place in the AL Central, blowing an 11.5 game lead on the Clevland Indians. Losing a lead that large and missing the playoffs hasn’t been done since the Giants did it back in 1951. The Twins look to bounce back tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers at 7:10 pm.
