It doesn’t appear that the weather will interrupt any travel plans between now and Christmas. Mike Griesinger is with the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities.
“There are no signs of any bad weather between now and Christmas,” said Griesinger. “Heading into the weekend we’ll be in a warming trend with highs into the 40s.”
Griesinger says that will be the case for most of Middle America.
“Anywhere north of Oklahoma and Tennessee and between the Rockies and the Appalachians it looks pretty quiet through Christmas,” said Griesinger.
Griesinger says despite the warmth coming this weekend, he’s confident most of Minnesota will have a white Christmas.
