Paul FitzSimmons, a lifelong local resident and business owner, officially kicked off his campaign for the Blue Earth County Board of Commissioners.

FitzSimmons is seeking to win the District 4 seat, formerly served by Commissioner Will Purvis who will not be running for reelection in 2020.

Paul FitzSimmons, a fourth-generation farmer residing in Lyra Township, credits hard work, creativity, and relationships for the success of his family’s businesses. Paul, his father, Robert FitzSimmons, and three of his eight siblings formed Robert FitzSimmons and Sons, a family farm dedicated to pork production.

As a Blue Earth County Commissioner, FitzSimmons says he is committed to being an advocate for the interests of District 4 residents and ensuring that Blue Earth County continues to be a place where individuals, farmers, and businesses can thrive together.
