There have been numerous trade rumors with the Timberwolves and D’Angelo Russell, and now it has been confirmed with D’Angelo Russell coming to the Minnesota T-Wolves! The Minnesota Timberwolves have decided to trade Andrew Wiggins with a 2021 first-round and second-round pick to the Golden State Warriors for D’Angelo Russell, Jacob Evens, and Omari Spellmen. We also lost Robert Covington as a part of the four-team trade.

A big influence on why the Timberwolves had been going for D’Angelo Rusell is that he and the starting center for the Minnesota Timberwolves (Karl-Anthony Towns) are actually good friends. Karl-Anthony Towns was waiting for his dear friend to arrive from the Minneapolis- St.paul airport just Thursday night to congratulate him with his new team jersey.

This has also led to rumors about how the Timberwolves may want to make moves for Devin Booker in the future as well as he too is great friends with Towns and Russell. But for now, let’s welcome our newest Timberwolves.
