This past Saturday, the Minnesota T-Wolves finally got over their 13 game losing streak with a blow-out game against the L.A Clippers. The Clippers are actually one of the best out teams in the NBA at the moment (#3 in the Western conference) but could not stop the numerous 3-pointers that the Timberwolves made. The new Timberwolves team had, in fact, made 26 3-pointers out of 44 attempts (59%), as compared to the Clippers 9 out of 26 attempts (24 %).

This is kind of ironic because Malik Beasley said “we came in not knowing any of the plays, but we told each other just play and have fun and play hard. That’s what we did tonight”. Many of these points were actually made from the newcomers of the Timberwolves team, like Malik Beasley who had 20 points and scored 7 of those 3-pointers with 10 rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns also had a great night with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan McLaughlin also did fantastic with 24 points and 11 assists. The incredible part was D’Angelo Russell wasn’t even playing that game, he was still out due to quadriceps issue. However, he is predicted to go to Monday’s shoot around against Toronto. It seems like the Timberwolves may finally find a way out!
