As more and more scams are being reported amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota cautions:

“Scammers are paying close attention to news headlines right now it’s all COIVD-19 all the time, crooks are preying on the vulnerability of all of us during what is likely going to be one of the most uncertain times in our history.”

The BBB’s Bao Vang says it’s likely there will be a surge in the number of scam reports in the next month as a stay at home order continues. She’s urging anyone who sees something suspicious to report it to the Better Business Bureau.
