Basketball super star Lebron James and the Lakers have been doing pretty well for themselves this NBA season, with a 15-6 record. This past Monday (Feb. 1)  they played against the Atlanta Hawks, and although the Hawks made it an interesting game, the Lakers pushed through.

That didn’t sit well with a Hawks fan sitting courtside, and they got into an argument with James and eventually got kicked out of the game by the stadium’s security. Laker’s broadcaster Bill Macdonald even made a joke saying it looked like an episode from Desperate Housewives.

After the game, James explained that the fight was between himself and the woman’s husband, he then said that he didn’t think the couple should have gotten ejected from the game. James states “At the end of the day, I’m happy fans are back in the building,” he also told reporters “I missed that interaction, I need that interaction, we as players need that interaction. I don’t feel like it was warranted to be kicked out. There was a back-and-forth between two grown men. We said our piece, he said his piece, I said my piece, and then someone else jumped into it and said their piece. I didn’t think they should’ve been kicked out, but they might’ve had a couple drinks, maybe, and they could’ve probably kept it going and the game wouldn’t have been about the game anymore, so the referees did what they had to do.”

This is not the first time James has had an incident with a spectator during this season. While the Lakers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, James missed a shot at the end of the 3rd quarter, and wasn’t happy with how a Cleveland fan responded. He then made 26 points in the 4th quarter, making up for the missed shot.
