After the Twins played 60 games with no attendance this past year, the MN baseball team is ready for some fans this upcoming 2021 season. They are hoping to have 10,000 fans in attendance starting on their home opener (April 8th).

The Twins are also anticipating to slowly add to their attendance as the season moves forward, as long as COVID numbers remain low and the vaccine continues to progress.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz seems to be anxious about fans attending games at Target Field.

“Governor Walz is eager to get back to Target Field,” stated spokesman Teddy Tschann. “If Minnesotans continue to work hard to keep the virus under control while vaccinations ramp up, we’re optimistic we can get fans back in the stands in some capacity this season.”

The big question now is, will fans even want to come back after this pandemic?
