On Wednesday morning, it only took a half an hour for the Minnesota Twins spring training tickets to sell out.
Starting at 10 am, Fans were offered the opportunity to purchase “seating pod” tickets for the training camp in Fort Myers, Florida.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, fans were only able to purchase seating pods that are a certain distance from other fans. These seating pods hold up to two or four guests per pod. Sales were also restricted to one ticket-buyer per pod.
These seating pods follow all protocol by the MLB and the Centers for Disease Control.
The MN Twins first spring training game is against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, Feb. 28th.
