— Another fictional TV character has suffered a heart attack while riding a Peloton exercise bike. And here comes the spoiler alert. In Sunday night’s season six premiere of “Billions” on Showtime, the character Mike “Wags” Wagner has a heart attack but recovers, noting he’s”not going out like Mr. Big.” Mr. Big was a character on HBO’s “Sex and the City” sequel series that died on that show about a month ago after riding a Peloton. The “Billions” episode had been filmed months ago and the Mr. Big line was added in post-production. Peloton has released a statement that it didn’t give “Billions” permission to use its brand and that there are strong benefits to cardio-vascular exercise.
— Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are parents. The pair shared the same message on both their Instagram pages Friday, announcing they welcomed their first baby via surrogate. They didn’t share any pictures and “respectfully” asked for privacy during this “special time” as they focus on their family. The couple received thousands of well wishes from celebrities and fans.
— Celebrities are mourning the death of iconic French fashion designer Thierry Mugler. The 73-year-old died Sunday at the age of 73, but a cause of death has not been revealed. He dressed several stars, including Demi Moore, Tyra Banks, and came out of retirement in 2019 to create the wet couture dress for Kim Kardashian. Diana Ross wore Mugler’s line at the height of her career in the 1980s and 1990s. She posted a throwback picture with Mugler, saying “”I will miss you Thierry Mugler this was a wonderful time in our lives.”
— The Star of Broadway’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is out of a job. It comes after a cast member complained about James Snyder’s behavior. Producers have been investigating the allegations since November when Diane Davis, who plays Ginny Potter, filed a misconduct complaint. Snyder was suspended while the investigation was underway, but his contract has now been terminated.
— Two ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedians and Staten Island natives now own a boat. Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry for just over 280-thousand-dollars on Wednesday. They’re teaming up with comedy club owner Paul Italia to turn the 277-foot vessel named after President John F. Kennedy into an entertainment venue. The boat had been in service since 1965 until it was retired last summer. The trio says it will cost millions of dollars to overhaul the boat.
— It seems like Garrett Hedlund isn’t handling his breakup with Emma Roberts well. ‘TMZ’ reports the 37-year-old actor was arrested Saturday night for public intoxication while in Franklin County, Tennessee. The incident comes shortly after ‘People’ confirmed the couple had split following a rough patch in their relationship.
— Bella Hadid is done drinking alcohol. The supermodel told ‘Instyle’ she stopped drinking alcohol six months ago because she felt like she couldn’t “control” herself. The 25-year-old says she doesn’t feel the need to drink anymore because she knows how it will affect her at three in the morning when she wakes up with anxiety. Hadid has previously shared her struggles with mental health.
– Christine Brown from “Sister Wives” says her marriage to Kody Brown could be over. Christine says Kody told her the intimate part of their marriage is done, and she says she isn’t interested in staying in a marriage that doesn’t involve intimacy. Christine says she’s not surprised by Kody’s decision since he previously told her he wasn’t attracted to her anymore. The pair have been together for 25 years but have not said if they will definitely split up.
— Fans of Leah Michele are catching a glimpse of her baby. The Glee alum posted a photo on Instagram to wish her husband, Zandy Reich, a happy birthday. Reich is holding the couple’s one-year-old son, Ever, who is facing the camera. In the caption, Michele wrote “Greatest man, father, husband and friend. I wake up every day so thankful that you are ours Z.” The couple was first linked together in July of 2017 and got married back in March of 2019.
