(Taopi, MN) — Cleanup is continuing after a tornado in southern Minnesota and the Governor is visiting to see the damage. Governor Tim Walz was in Taopi near the Iowa border yesterday surveying the damage to see how much help is needed from the state. The EF-2 tornado damaged 24 homes in the community of less than 100 residents. No one was seriously injured during the Tuesday evening storm.
