McDonald’s Is Adding Four Fan-Inspired “Menu Hack” Items

By |2022-01-27T08:06:38-06:00January 27th, 2022|Categories: Blogs|

I'll give McDonald's partial credit for this.  It's cool they're doing it, but you still have to build the sandwich yourself.  So all they're really doing is letting you ask for these by name . . . Next week, McDonald's is adding four MENU HACK items for a limited time.  Meaning food mash-ups that are popular on social media, and a few are fairly epic.  But everything comes separately, so you have to assemble them yourself.  Starting on Monday, you'll be able to get these four Menu Hack items for a limited time . . . The Hash Brown McMuffin.  It's [...]

Lego Has Given an Animal . . . an Anus

By |2022-01-10T08:12:43-06:00January 10th, 2022|Categories: Blogs|

Lego can afford to play it fast and loose with details due to their blockish nature. So, you wouldn't expect Lego ANIMALS to be "anatomically correct." But that's changing as their sets become increasingly intricate.   They recently introduced a "Majestic Tiger," which has impressive detail . . . including Lego's first ANUS. Yes, the tiger has a small, circular pink piece that fits underneath its tail. The specific part is also used for flowers, among other things.   It's kinda cool . . . kinda unnecessary . . . and kinda hilarious at the same time, considering there are kids [...]

Hockey Fan Saves Life!

By |2022-01-03T06:15:57-06:00January 3rd, 2022|Categories: Blogs|

Back in October, a hockey fan and med student in Seattle named Nadia Popovici went to see the Seattle Kraken play the Vancouver Canucks . . . and ended up saving a guy's life. She was sitting behind the Canucks' bench when she noticed a weird MOLE on the assistant equipment manager's neck.  So she typed a message to him on her phone . . . showed it to him through the glass . . . and he took it seriously. His name is Brian Hamilton, and it turned out she was right.  It was melanoma, but he had it removed, and he's [...]

A Grinch Actor Trashed Their Whole House

By |2021-12-15T08:16:09-06:00December 15th, 2021|Categories: Blogs|

Imagine setting your whole house up for the holidays, and this happens:  A mom in Northern Ireland named Laura Magill thought it would be fun if an actor dressed as the Grinch came to her house and messed with her kids. The ad for it said that for just over $100, the Grinch would have a pillow fight with them . . . toilet paper their Christmas tree . . . and pose for pictures. But things took a turn when he started a food fight with her son.  So all of the expensive cookies, candy, and other treats she put [...]

Simple Pleasures Rich People Don’t Get to Have

By |2021-12-14T07:26:37-06:00December 14th, 2021|Categories: Blogs|

Sure, Elon Musk has billions of dollars and rockets and stuff.  But you can't BUY any of the things on this list. Someone asked people to name simple, everyday pleasures in life that super-rich people don't get to experience.  Here are some of the best answers we've seen . . . The excitement that comes with finding a $10 bill in an old coat. Not having to worry someone's just dating you for your money. The thrill of finding a favorite product on sale. The intense family bonds that come with not having money.  That "you and me against the world" vibe. The [...]

When Do You Get Burned Out on Holiday Cheer?

By |2021-12-13T07:44:22-06:00December 13th, 2021|Categories: Blogs|

The stretch between Thanksgiving and Christmas is around a month-long . . . but not everyone can keep the HOLIDAY CHEER going the whole time. A new study asked people how long they could go . . . starting on Black Friday and then into December . . . before they felt burned out.  Specifically, they asked when people felt they'd need a break from alcohol and partying. And people in most states are ALREADY burned out. The state with the MOST endurance is New Hampshire . . . and people there can still only make it until December 15th, which [...]

10 Things That Are Illegal But Aren’t Ethically Wrong

By |2021-12-07T09:53:12-06:00December 7th, 2021|Categories: Blogs|

If there was a Venn diagram set up for laws and ethics, MOST illegal things would also be morally wrong, so there would be a lot of overlap.  But not all wrongs are illegal . . . and not all illegal things are morally wrong. Someone recently asked the Internet to list things that ARE illegal, but are NOT ethically wrong.  Naturally, there are a LOT of gray areas and nuances in both "what is moral," and "what is illegal," especially across different regions. That said, here are 10 highlights: "Paying for someone else's parking meter." "Credentialing laws for things that [...]

If you're driving around in a gold BMW with vanity plates, and your car runs on sunlight, give us a call and plead your case.  Someone out there is trying to sully your good name. A used car website in the U.K. commissioned a study that looked into which types of drivers are more likely to be PSYCHOPATHS. They asked people about their car, and had them take a 12-question test to gauge how many psychopathic tendencies they have.  Here's what they found . . . BMW drivers are more likely to be psychos than anyone else.  Audi owners were a [...]

The Radio in Our Car Is Still the #1 Way We Listen to Music

By |2021-11-30T10:44:21-06:00November 30th, 2021|Categories: Blogs|

It seems like everyone's got AirPods, Spotify, and an Amazon Echo now.  But even with all those options, the #1 way we listen to music is the way you're doing it right now. A new survey found RADIO is still the top way Americans listen to music.  Specifically, the radio in your CAR.  And it's #1 globally as well. 93% listen to radio everyweek Only 33% said they've listened to music through a streaming service they pay for, like Spotify . . . just 29% have listened to a CD in the past six months . . . 27% have listened [...]
