Maurice Jones-Drew Ranks Dalvin Cook Among the Top 10 Running Backs in the NFL

Although Dalvin Cook has had an injury prone start to his career, he's shown his potential when he's healthy. Cook was injured in week 4 of the 2017 season, and that injury prevented him from being a full-time starter in 2018. However, a lot of experts agree that Cook could be one of the best running backs in the NFL. Maurice Jones-Drew recently ranked all 32 starting running backs in the NFL. This last week, the front seven looked pretty typical. Danielle Hunter, Anthony Barr, and other pro bowlers were leading the defense. But, several rookies were holding down the secondary. Notably, Marcus Epps was making plays. Epps batted down a potential touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins to Stefon Diggs over the middle. Epps also almost picked up an interception on Tuesday. After several seasons of kicking woes and disappointment from head coach Mike Zimmer, the Vikings have decided to finally make moves in the right direction. Despite Mike Priefer turning down the Vikings' latest offer in favor of joining the Browns, the Vikings have made an interesting hire that should provide some relief to the kicking curse the Vikings have felt since the late 1990s. The Vikings hired Nate Kaeding, the former kicker for the Chargers and Dolphins, as a kicking consultant. Kaeding is known for his regular season kicking percentage of 86.2%, which puts him at ninth in all-time kicking percentages. [...]
