— Celebrities are pulling together to support Bob Saget’s family after his unexpected death. The comedian and actor’s former ‘Full House’ co-star John Stamos was seen visiting Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo on Monday. Candace Cameron Bure, John Mayor, and comedian Jeff Ross also showed up in support. The 65-year-old was found dead Sunday in his hotel room at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. Authorities say drugs and foul play are not suspected at this time.
— More details are emerging surrounding Betty White’s death. The beloved actress’s death certificate revealed she suffered a stroke six days before she passed away at her home in Los Angeles. It’s not clear if White experienced any emotional or behavioral changes leading up to her death on New Year’s Eve. Sources tell TMZ she was alert and coherent.
— The Grand Ole Opry is receiving criticism after a stage appearance over the weekend by controversial country musician Morgan Wallen. Critics of Wallen began calling for a response from the Opry after he appeared on stage to sing a duet with singer-songwriter Ernest. Last year, Wallen was dropped by his music label after a video surfaced of him using a racial slur. The Black Opry, a home for Black country artists and fans, sent a letter to the Grand Ole Opry criticizing Wallen’s appearance.
— ‘Emily In Paris’ is being renewed for two more season. The Emmy-nominated romantic comedy series be back on Netflix for season three and four. Season 2 dropped last month, making a debut in the Global Netflix Top 10. The season had more than 107-million viewing hours in its first four days on the platform.
— Aubrey Plaza will become a series regular on HBO’s “The White Lotus.” Variety reports Plaza will take on the role of Harper Spiller in season 2. The show will take place at a completely different White Lotus resort than the Hawaii location used in season 1. Michael Imperioli is also set to appear in season 2.
— Heather Rae Young is opening up about her fertility journey. The 34-year-old ‘Selling Sunset’ star took to Instagram on Monday, revealing it seems like she only has four eggs that could be frozen. She talked about freezing her eggs just days ago and said the process might happen faster than she expected. The celebrity realtor married ‘Flip or Flop’ star Tarek El Moussa this past October.
— Broadway is toughening its vaccine rule for children under the age of 12. The new rule, which requires children between the ages of five and eleven to be vaccinated, will go into effect on January 29th. In addition, theaters are also extending their mask policy and vaccine requirements through April. The owners and operators of 41 Broadway theaters are also extending the program which allows for flexible exchanges and refunds.
— Kendall Jenner is firing back at critics who say a dress she wore to her best friend’s wedding was “inappropriate.” The 26-year-old model wore a revealing black cutout dress to Lauren Perez’s Miami wedding in November. Perez took to Instagram on New Year’s Even to commemorate her special day, and comments started coming in about Jenner’s dress. Perez said she supported the outfit choice and Jenner also chimed in, saying she asked for approval in advance.
— Courteney Cox says her daughter Coco has only seen part of the movie “Scream. The 57-year-old starred in the 1996 classic where she met her ex David Arquette. He noted that Coco doesn’t like watching her parents’ work. Cox says her daughter will likely follow in her parents’ footsteps and get into acting.
