(St. Paul, MN) — A Minnesota GOP strategist charged last year with sex trafficking of minors is claiming that he is being unfairly targeted by federal prosecutors because of his wealth and public profile. Anton Lazzaro is arguing that the case against him should be dismissed because he was only giving females expensive presents before they “hooked up.” Prosecutors haven’t filed a response to Lazzaro’s motion. The 31-year-old faces ten charges related to trafficking minors and obstruction of justice.
